Rivers

The local river to L'Orangerie is the River Orne which varies as it runs down from the reservoir at Rabodange until it meanders through Pont d'Ouilly. Locally, it is wise to exercise caution as the level can change quickly, however at Pont d'Ouilly you can Hire Pedalo, Kayaks or swim.

Fishing is possible on all rivers that do not display a no fishing sign (Peche Interdict or Defence de Peche). However a licence is required and these are available from Garages and some Bar du Sport.
